Hebie Asia is based in Taichung City, Taiwan, and is managed by Jeremy Lin. As a team, we are known for our flexible thinking and high reliability. Our aim is to support customers in the Asia region and beyond the Pacific – including Oceania and the Americas – with short lead times and delivery times and fast support.

FAST RESPONSES IN THE ASIAN REGION

The HEBIE GROUP pursues the clear goal of being a reliable partner for customers worldwide. In order to better bridge geographical distances and time differences, it was decided to establish a subsidiary in Asia. The region around Taichung and Changhua in particular has a world-leading production cluster for high-quality bicycles and components, as well as a strong industrial infrastructure overall. In March 2017, Hebie Asia was finally opened as a wholly owned subsidiary of the HEBIE GROUP in the heart of Taiwan.

MADE IN BIELEFELD – ASSEMBLED IN TAIWAN

In addition to OEM and AM order processing, our patented CHAINLOOPER children’s bike chainguard is also assembled there. Hebie Asia acts as a logistics centre for the Asia-Pacific region and houses departments for supply chain management and quality assurance. Hebie Asia also plays a key role in cross-cultural communication with the German headquarters.

CHAINLOOPER

Our innovative chainguard for children’s bikes is produced in Bielefeld. The product is finalised with the chain at our site in Taiwan. From there, the finished chainguard is delivered directly to the bike manufacturer.

FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION

Our two automatic CHAINLOOPER assembly machines and several semi-automatic lines enable consistently high production quality – regardless of the order volume.

LOGISTICS HUB

As a logistics hub, we bundle products from various Asian bicycle production lines and connect all stakeholders via our international network. The result: flexible shipping solutions, customised to individual delivery schedules.

LOWER TRANSPORT AND STORAGE COSTS

Thanks to a standardised pricing system for Hebie Germany and Hebie Asia, our customers benefit from clear calculations and smooth, supra-regional processing.

STRICT QUALITY ASSURANCE

Our quality controls include both incoming and outgoing inspections and are supplemented by detailed root cause analyses. This strict system guarantees consistently high quality – regardless of whether the products are manufactured in Germany or abroad.

HEBIE ASIA HISTORY

For the history of the company, we have to go back to the middle of the 19th century. What began as a cork cutting workshop in Bielefeld is now a group of companies with locations in Bielefeld, Münster and Taichung in Taiwan.
